MARIOS COLLECTIVE is an independent fashion project est. 2001 by Mayo Loizou and Leszek Chmielewski.

Conceived as a collective, MARIOS brings together people, cultures and different creative disciplines. Functionality, transformation and freedom of movement have always been central to its approach, with street culture as a constant influence.

Fashion, art, photography and performance naturally intersect within MARIOS. Over the years, artists, photographers, performers and other creative voices have become part of the project, making collaboration an integral part of its identity.

MARIOS has never been defined by fixed ideas of gender, age or trends. Each piece leaves space for individual interpretation.

Twenty-five years of collections, images, collaborations and projects now form the MARIOS archive — a living record of the people, encounters and ideas that have shaped the collective since 2001.
