Demi Demu (Magdalena Nawrocka Demukai), born in Poland. She graduated from high school of fine arts in the graphic arts department; and completed education at the University — with a specialization in drawing media. Her childhood was spent in the family printing office, it was there that, amidst the smell of paint and the noise of printing machines, she developed her interest in traditional printing techniques. As a teenager she engaged in creative research in a theatre, where the lack of words enabled the actors to express themselves through means of the image, set design, sound and movement. After graduating from university she moved to Warsaw, where she began working as a stylist and prop designer, collaborating also with the post guerilla Comme des Garçons store. Hypnotized by Eastern Culture she made the decision to deepen her knowledge from the source. 2013 she flew to Japan, where she has been living and working since.
